A neighborhood home in North Charleston
St. Johns House offers men’s recovery housing in a neighborhood setting with access to public transportation, employment and community resources. Talk with admissions about the routes and appointments that matter to you rather than assuming a particular commute is available.
Support around everyday life
Lantern combines a substance-free living environment with peer support, case management and practical help working toward employment and independent housing. Residents can discuss recovery pathways and prescribed medication arrangements with admissions.
Plan your work and transportation
Bring your work schedule and appointment times to the admissions conversation. Get Out and Work helps residents explore employment opportunities and discuss transportation around an approved job location.
Transportation to an approved employment location costs $5 each way, or $10 round trip. Your work location must be approved. Confirm the worksite, shift, pickup arrangements and ride availability with Lantern before making travel plans.
Housing costs and what to confirm
$995 per month. A weekly payment option is available at $248.75 per week. Admissions will explain payment dates and the billing schedule before you commit.
The intake fee is determined case by case. Confirm your intake fee, total move-in amount, and refund terms with admissions in writing before arranging move-in.
Ask about current room availability, shared living arrangements, house expectations and the full list of inclusions. Review costs and inclusions.
