LANTERNRESIDENCES

About Lantern

Thriving,
not just surviving.

Lantern provides sober living for men, bringing structured recovery housing and everyday support together in the Charleston area.

A home as the foundation

Our mission is to offer a stable living environment where people can rebuild their lives with dignity. We support men recovering from addiction, facing housing insecurity, or transitioning from incarceration through sober housing, life skills, and community.

That means helping residents with the practical work of rebuilding: finding employment, coordinating appointments, managing money, and preparing for independent living.

Why Lantern exists

Co-founders Zach Mitchell and Zachery Highfield bring together experience in recovery and housing. Their aim is a community where residents can build stability and work toward a life of their own.

Our homes serve North Charleston, Goose Creek, and Summerville.
